North Metro Church’s Mission Statement is, “We help people find and follow Jesus.” What this means is our church cooperates with God in His work of pursuing humanity with a relentless fury in order to reconcile men and women to Himself. God uses all means necessary to guide people to the ultimate truth of life: God himself. C.S. Lewis framed God’s work on earth this way:“God whispers to us in our pleasures…but shouts in our pains: it is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world” (C.S. Lewis, The Problem of Pain).

 

The Care Ministries of North Metro Church strive to cooperate with what God is doing in the lives of people, accomplishing His will and purposes and using the difficulties of life in the process. But as Jesus proclaimed when he began his earthly ministry two thousand years ago, good news exists, even for the sufferer: “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because He has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” (Luke 4:18-19)

 

In these verses from Jesus, he describes his “Soul Care” mission. As a church, we have extremely well-trained men and women who are the "medics on the battlefield of life," comforting those who mourn, providing for those who grieve, proclaiming good news, freedom and the Lord’s favor. Divorce Care

An incredibly powerful thirteen week class providing support and insight to men and women who have or who are presently experiencing one of the most painful events of life – the termination of a marriage covenant.

 

 

 

Stephen Ministry

A team of highly trained men and women called by God to proclaim the Lord’s favor to those who have experienced loss (job, death of a loved one, relationship, health) through one-on-one interactions. 

 

 

 

Pre-Marital Ministry

Practical and biblical guidance provided to engaged couples through couple-on-couple mentoring sessions.

 

 

 

Pure Desire and Betrayal & Beyond

Support groups for men and women locked in the battle for sexual purity in life.

 

 

 

Fresh Start

This ministry is designed to help those with hurts in the past, but who struggle to grant forgiveness in the present.
